What made you want to become an Inclusion Ambassador with You Can Play?
Playing and coaching softball has been an integral part of shaping who I am today. I believe that everyone deserves to feel like they are a part of something special. I want to be able to help create spaces where everyone feels included in the sports community.
Do you have any advice for people who want to become more engaged with LGBTQ+ activism in sports?
Be there for others, especially in the LGBTQ+ community, be inclusive and be open to important conversations. I think if everyone goes that little extra mile to make someone's day or make them feel a part of the team, the sports world can be a better place for so many people.
